Policy Statement
Bauer Digital is committed to conducting business with integrity and transparency. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking. We are fully committed to complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and expect the same standards from all those we work with.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Bauer Digital is a UK-based company specialising in high-performance LED infrastructure for complex environments. We partner closely with YAHAM (global LED manufacturer) and operate as part of the IUF Group.
Our supply chain includes:
- LED hardware manufacturing (predominantly overseas)
- UK-based project delivery, installation, and support services
- Software and technology infrastructure
- Logistics and warehousing providers
We carefully select suppliers and partners who demonstrate ethical and legal compliance with labour practices and human rights.
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
We review our supply chain regularly to assess the risk of slavery and human trafficking. We focus our due diligence efforts on high-risk areas such as:
- Overseas manufacturing (particularly outside the UK and EU)
- Subcontracted labour in installation or logistics
Due diligence activities include:
- Supplier vetting and onboarding processes
- Requiring contractual adherence to anti-slavery standards
- Ongoing relationship management with key partners
Policies in Practice
To uphold our commitment:
- All employees and contractors must comply with this policy.
- Our supplier contracts include clauses relating to the Modern Slavery Act.
- We reserve the right to audit suppliers and terminate relationships if breaches are found.
Training and Awareness
While Bauer Digital is not currently a large organisation legally required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement, we are committed to raising awareness internally. Key staff are briefed on the risks of modern slavery and how to report any concerns.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage any employee, supplier, or third party with suspicions of modern slavery to raise their concerns confidentially by contacting info@bauer-digital.co.uk. All concerns will be taken seriously and investigated appropriately.
Review and Compliance
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary. Compliance is overseen by our senior leadership team. Any breaches of this policy may result in disciplinary action or contract termination.
